He chuckled, but there was no humour in it as he carefully put the tags around his neck and pulled out the uniform. Camo. Green and black and....
"Brown."
A shy, timid smile now.
"Jesus, Runt. The colour of love. You could read a thousand thick books and still not know the answer but..." He pressed the uniform against his face, smelling it before leaning back entirely, draping the heavy jacket over his head as he lay down on the floor.
